“یک معمای قتل جذاب با کارآگاهان بازنشسته”

فیلم The Thursday Murder Club (باشگاه قتل پنجشنبه)، یکی از پرستاره‌ترین و مورد انتظارترین آثار کمدی-جنایی سال2025 است که بر اساس اولین رمان از مجموعه کتاب‌های پدیده و پرفروش جهانی نوشته ریچارد آزمن (Richard Osman) ساخته شده است. کارگردانی این اثر جذاب بر عهده فیلمساز افسانه‌ای، کریس کلمبوس (Chris Columbus)، کارگردان فیلم‌های محبوبی چون Home Alone و دو قسمت اول Harry Potter است. تیم بازیگری این فیلم نیز خود یک رویداد سینمایی است و شامل نمادهای سینمای بریتانیا یعنی هلن میرن (Helen Mirren)، پیرس برازنان (Pierce Brosnan) و بن کینگزلی (Ben Kingsley) می‌باشد.

داستان در یک دهکده بازنشستگی آرام و مجلل در انگلستان می‌گذرد. در این مکان به ظاهر آرام، چهار دوست بازنشسته به نام‌های الیزابت (یک جاسوس سابق باهوش)، ران (یک فعال کارگری سابق تندخو)، ابراهیم (یک روانپزشک دقیق) و جویس (یک پرستار سابق دوست‌داشتنی) یک گروه مخفی و سرگرم‌کننده تشکیل داده‌اند: “باشگاه قتل پنجشنبه”. آن‌ها هر هفته دور هم جمع می‌شوند و با استفاده از مهارت‌ها و تجربیات زندگی خود، به حل پرونده‌های قتل قدیمی و مختومه (cold cases) می‌پردازند.

اما سرگرمی و تفریح تئوریک آن‌ها، زمانی به یک واقعیت خطرناک تبدیل می‌شود که یک معمای قتل واقعی و تازه درست در آستانه در خانه‌شان اتفاق می‌افتد. یک پیمانکار محلی به قتل می‌رسد و این چهار کارآگاه سالمند و کنجکاو، این فرصت را غنیمت می‌شمرند تا استعدادهای خود را در یک پرونده واقعی به کار گیرند.

در حالی که پلیس رسمی با روش‌های سنتی خود در حال تحقیق است، اعضای “باشگاه قتل پنجشنبه” با زیرکی، نادیده گرفتن قوانین و استفاده از مزیت “نامرئی بودن” افراد مسن در جامعه، تحقیقات موازی خود را آغاز می‌کنند. این فیلم یک “کمدی-جنایی سرگرم‌کننده” (comic crime caper) است که در آن، این گروه از کارآگاهان دوست‌داشتنی با هوش و تجربه‌شان، هم قاتل را به چالش می‌کشند و هم پلیس را چند قدم عقب می‌اندازند. The Thursday Murder Club داستانی جذاب درباره این است که هوش و کنجکاوی تاریخ انقضا ندارد و هرگز نباید یک بازنشسته را دست کم گرفت.
